XTEND GO by Scivation is an energy and BCAA supplement, formulated to aid muscle growth, expedite recovery, and boost energy levels.
I decided to check out XTEND GO and see if it is effective.

Ingredients

XTEND GO is formulated with branched-chain amino acids in a 2:1:1 ratio. Branched-chain amino acids are used to attenuate muscle soreness and optimize recovery.

XTENDO GO also provides 2,500 mg of L-glutamine, an amino acid that is athletes use to improve immune system and gut function.ingredients

Additionally, XTEND GO provides 2 blends: an Electrolyte Blend and XTEND GO Nucleus.

The Electrolyte Blend includes sodium chloride, potassium chloride, and trisodium citrate dihydrate- ingredients that help you stay hydrated during intense exercise.

The XTEND GO Nucleus blend offers energy and focus boosting ingredients like caffeine anhydrous (100 mg) and L-Theanine.

Citrulline malate (1000 mg) is also part of XTEND GO’s formula. Citrulline malate is often referred to as a pump ingredient, meaning that citrulline malate is supplemented with to increase blood flow for better muscle pumps.

How to Use XTEND GO?

Scivation XTEND GO is an intra-workout, meaning it is best used during exercise. However, you can also use it whenever you need an extra boost. You shouldn’t consume more than 3 scoops a day.

XTEND GO is only available in a fruit punch flavor. Fruit punch isn’t my favorite flavor to be completely honest. I feel that flavor is overdone quite a bit. I got to try XTEND GO, and needless to say, it wasn’t my favorite. It did, however, taste exactly how a fruit punch supplement should taste.

Its mixability was about average. I added one scoop in 8 oz. of water and shook it for about 15 seconds. Most of the clumps disappeared. However, there was a little bit of settling at the bottom.

I had to use 2 scoops to notice a subtle boost in energy. That is partially because I regularly use caffeinated pre-workout supplements. If you are caffeine tolerant, you may need to take more than one scoop as well to notice any energy improvements.

How Much Is XTEND GO?

The price of XTEND GO is decent. XTEND GO retails for about $35 per bottle, and each bottle provides 30 servings. Depending on whether you take 3 scoops a day or not, one bottle can last anywhere from 10 days to 30. As of right now, it appears XTEND GO is only available from GNC.com.

Are There Any Side Effects?

I didn’t notice any side effects. Most of XTEND GO’s ingredients are virtually side effect-free, with the exception of perhaps caffeine. If you don’t do caffeine well but you still want to try XTEND GO, I’d recommend starting with one scoop. One thing to notice is that XTEND GO isn’t loaded with a lot of caffeine per serving, which makes it suitable to take more than 1 scoop if needed.

Should You Consider It?

Overall, I thought XTEND GO was a decent BCAA supplement. The main downside to me was the limited flavor options.

That being said, I would recommend XTEND GO to those looking for an edge on their workouts. Unlike other BCAA supplements, XTEND GO also includes additional ergogenic ingredients, which is nice.
