One of their latest creations is a pre-workout designed specifically for women called Women’s Elite. So does this new pre-workout put ProMera one step closer to being mentioned in the same sentence as the bigger supplement companies like MuscleTech and MusclePharm? Here’s a full review for Women’s Elite to help answer that question. Battle of the Bulge To only way a supplement is going to win the war on fat is with effective ingredients. I liked that ProMera didn’t try to complicate Women’s Elite by throwing the entire kitchen sink in the formula. It features a few simple ingredients to help you burn calories, and have more strength and energy during your workout. The main fat fighting ingredients in Women’s Elite includes capsicum extract and black pepper fruit extract. These compounds promote lipolysis, which includes breaking down fat and improving metabolic rate. What’s more, capsicum and black pepper help suppress appetite and enhance thermogenesis so you burn more calories as you exercise and at rest. To further help suppress appetite and better manage blood sugar levels, the formula also includes chromium picolinate. Is Creatine Safe For Women? Don’t be scared that Women’s Elite contains creatine. This is an amino acid that the body naturally produces. It plays an important role in generating adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the energy system that fuels the body’s cells. What’s more, you’re going to get ProMera’s Con-Cret in here. This consists of the high quality creatine hydrochloride (HCL). This hydrochloride salt improves the solubility and absorption of the creatine and attenuates creatine side effects such as bloating and cramping. You’re also going to find a few b-vitamins in Women’s Elite. These help with carbohydrate metabolism, allowing you to breakdown food into energy. B-vitamins also help increase natural energy and prevent you from crashing after a workout. Flavor, Price, and Mixability Women’s Elite is currently available in two flavors- mango and strawberry kiwi. If you’re buying it online, you can find it anywhere between $20-$30. Even though it’s designed for women, I did go ahead and try it. I had the mango flavor, and thought is tasted pretty sweet, definitely one of the better tasting pre-workouts I’ve tried. I didn’t use the entire bottle so I can tell you much in the way of weight loss, but I do really like creatine hydrochloride and noticed a nice strength increase. Women’s elite mixes well, just like any pre-workout it’s not going to mix up 100%, but it does mostly dissolve. Women’s Elite Final Thoughts This is a stimulant free pre-workout which means it’s great for stacking with other fat burning products or pre-workout supplements. It can also be taken by itself if you’re looking for something to give you more strength and burn fat without making you jittery.
