Although most of these ingredients might seem pretty foreign, if you’ve looked at other natural testosterone boosters you probably won’t be surprised by anything in here. That’s a good thing, since common ingredients tend to have the most research behind them. Alpha JYM Ingredient Analysis In order to directly stimulate testosterone production, Alpha JYM contains fenugreek, ashwagandha root, and eurycoma longifolia. These compounds support natural testosterone production by stimulating the pituitary gland to increase its output of luteinzing hormone In turn, this extra luteinzing hormone signals the body to increase testosterone production. Fenugreek: A study with 49 resistance trained men showed that supplementing with 500 mg of fenugreek a day improved free-testosterone levels, upper- and lower-body strength, and overall body composition.[1] Eurycoma Longifolia: Also known as tongkat ali, a study published in the Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition showed supplementing with 200 mg of tongkat ali boosted free-testosterone levels and helped alleviate stress.[2] Ashwagandha: A study involving 25 men supplementing with 675 mg of ashwagandha every day for 90 days showed a 17% increase in testosterone compared to a placebo group. Additionally, 34% experienced a increase in luteinizing hormone.[3] Additionally, Alpha JYM contains damiana, diindolylmethane, and quercetin. Damiana: Although damiana lacks human studies, in vitro and mice research shows it has the ability to suppress aromatase activity and correct sexual dysfunction respectively.[4] Diindolylmethane: In a clinical trial study, patients with thyroid proliferative disease were given 300 mg of 3,3′-diindolylmethane a day. At the end of the study, data showed that 3,3′-diindolylmethane can potentially serve as an antiestrogenic dietary supplement.[5] Quercetin: Best known for its antioxidant capabilities, quercetin can potentially help with maintaining healthy testosterone production by regulating estrogen levels and keeping them in a healthy range. My Response To Alpha JYM The most noticeable benefit for me was an increase in libido. This translated to a subtle increase in my strength and energy at the gym. More than anything else, I felt like Alpha JYM just helped keep my testosterone levels elevated. A truly natural testosterone booster can’t increase testerone production beyond what your body is naturally capable of. With that in mind, I think Alpha JYM does its job to maximize the body’s potential for testosterone production. Price and Availability Alpha JYM has one of the best price points for a natural testosterone booster right now. I haven’t seen it higher than $30, and you get a full 30-day supply. A dollar a day to help keep testosterone levels elevated is a pretty good value. Is Alpha JYM For You? Alpha JYM has a lot going for it, chiefly its transparency and efficacious ingredient dosages. While you likely aren’t going to experience any major increases in testosterone, Alpha JYM will help your body produce the maximum amount of natural testosterone, and is very affordable.
